Welcome

WELCOME TO THE GREEN PEN!

It's my personal soapbox, a place for me to express thoughts and feelings, musings and rants, reflections and recollections; to have fun with words -- about things spiritual, environmental, social, political, economic, and, from time to time, personal. And of course about peace. Soapboxes are in public places (as London's legendary Hyde Park) on purpose, and so I invite conversations with you, for it is through civil discourse that we can gain some perspective on the seeming chaos of these changing times and learn together how to shape a positive future for ourselves, our communities, and the generations to come.

Admissions: A Parable of Peace

If you haven’t seen the film Admissions, please avail yourselves of the opportunity to see this beautiful parable of the foundations of peace and the end to war. See the message from producer/writer John Viscount, which includes a link for a free screening.

Admissions received its world premiere at the 2011 Global Summit of the Global Alliance for Ministries and Infrastructures for Peace (GAMIP) in Cape Town, South Africa. It has since toured film festivals around the world and received many awards.

I will be joining John Viscount next week as he screens Admissions and offers a following workshop at AGNT’s Awakened World International Film Festival in Santa Barbara, CA.
